Sandown Carnival Participation Fund

Each year, Sandown Carnival sets aside part of the donations you give us to help as many as possible take part in our events. We call this the Sandown Carnival Participation Fund (formerly the Sandown Carnival Development Fund).

Groups and individuals may apply for grants towards the costs of materials, artists, training, research and development, venue hire, rental costs, instruments and props etc. The aim is to encourage new entrants for our carnival parades and other events, making them bigger and better each time.

Some of the most popular entries in recent years may not have happened without our direct support.

You may apply for a grant of up to £300! Applications are asessed by a panel using the criteria set out in the application pack. Whilst priority is given to entries from the PO36 postcode area, all are welcome to apply.

2024 Applications are now open! Applications must be returned by 4pm on Monday 27th May 2024.
